THE WATER AROUND US
Your will find us at Norråva, 40 km from the heart of Stockholm.
Within a radius of 10 km, there are at least 325 islands waiting for you. In windy conditions, there is always an island to paddle behind to find lee. Smoothly surrounded with reed, the bays and soft cliffs awaits you to land with your kayak for a break or a good night’s sleep.
The brackish water – a mixture of fresh and salt water creates a unique environment for fish and plants. Most likely, you’ll spot an eagle or maybe a roe deer slipping into the woods when gliding along the shoreline of one of the islands.

The Archipelago Foundation owns and manages around 15 % of the total land and water surface in the archipelago. It was formed to preserve the natural and cultural heritage of the archipelago, and to provide the general public with continued access to this unique landscape. This, along with the ”Right of Access”, makes our surroundings a perfect playground for sea kayakers.
Right here, in the heart of the Stockholm Archipelago, you can paddle for quite a while before crossing your own wake.
